WB3W Field Day Logging...

This Field Day Logging application was originally written specifically with the visually impaired Amateur Radio operator in mind, but can be used by anyone interested in a basic, easy to use, logging program for the annual ARRL Field Day event.  It handles dupe checking, county/section verification, post contest entry, etc., and has all the necessary forms and logs to submit to the ARRL committee.

All text is about twice the normal size, and the main input fields are set to use a 60 point font size. Additionally, any individual user can customize the appearance of all input fields, by selecting their own color scheme for both the background and the text. Another option allows for the use of voice annunciation triggered upon entering each one of the the input fields on the main screen.

The program was designed to be used at a 1024 X 768 screen resolution, for maximum benefit of the larger fonts, but includes an add-on utility that will also allow it to automatically resize to 800 X 600 or 640 X 480 screen resolutions for use on older monitors or notebook computers.

The program can be run in a stand-alone single PC mode, or networked to other computers with no additional add-ons.  It was built specifically with networking as a main component.

The Program is available for downloading below, but is rather large, and may take a very long time unless you have a DSL or broadband modem connection.

The files are in a  self-extracting "zip" format.  Download to any temporary folder on your PC that you choose.  When complete, use Windows explorer to locate the wb3fdl.exe file.

Double click, and follow the instructions to "unzip". By default it should go to the "C:\WB3W  Install" folder. Go to that folder, and double click on the "Setup.exe" file or icon, and it will guide you through the installation process.
